Dear Abandonia visitors: Help us keep Abandonia free with a small donation. Abandonia is like an old gaming arcade with only original games. Abandonia helps you have fun four hours and years. If Abandonia is useful to you, please help us forget fundraising and get back to Abandonia.

When Abandonia was founded it was to collect and present all old games where the copyright protection had been abandoned, hence the term ’abandonware’ and the site name Abandonia.com. We are still keeping the site open and free and will appreciate your support to help it stay that way.

‐ Thank you from the Abandonia Team

We are trying to make it easy for people in every country to donate. Please let us know how we could make it easier for you.

Please give whatever you can to help us.

"Nuke 'em!"
Games that are heavily influenced by politics are not for the most casual players. However, guys like Fubb get the best kicks from games that involve lots of text, decision making, superpowers and militaries. Today, Fubb brings us a such game, called the Balance of Power 1990, a special edition of the original game which works in Windows! Also, according to Fubb, we even got an approval to add this game to the site from the game creator himself, Chris Crawford. A nuclear missiles filled with kudos goes to both of you guys!

As lord of your realm, you've built the castle of your dreams, battled bloodthirsty dragons, engaged in brutal treachery, sent troops abroad to war, and defended your land against marauding armies. But the peasant are still not happy. Maybe you should have distributed more boxshots from your grand treasury among them? Now you know why Ermuli's scandom is known for its harmony.

Boxshots: Dark Seed
Ermuli has spared no horrors (but surely taken fright) to rescue three boxshots out of the hands (or whatever gripping device) of an ancient and dying civilisation which depicts the synthesis of technology and biology as they might evolve without the influence of man. So he continued to save the world from a cruel and inhuman fate: the boring boxshotlessness!

Boxshots: Dark Seed II
Ermuli stumbles into the Dark World again. The Ancients want to exact revenge on him because of the boxshots, and unleash an evil boxshot-devouring entity into the Normal World to destroy mankind. But our brave hero simply unplugs the Moloch to electrify his scanner via that socket, snaps another few boxshots, and away he is!

Boxshots: Empire II - The Art of War

For every military genius in the league of a Napoleon, Churchill, or MacArthur, there is a Custer, Mussolini, and thousands of lesser known commanders who have gone down to inglorious defeat. Where and who is the counterpart of Ermuli? He successfully conquered boxshots once again!

Boxshots: Fantasy Empires
Welcome! It has been many moons since I last had a visitor. You may have plundered dungeons. You may even have slain dragons. But you have yet to look at the new boxshots by Ermuli. He has formidably prepared them for you. It was a test of scanning abilities and picture resizing skills.

Boxshots: Freddy Pharkas - Frontier Pharmacist

Ermuli travelled back to the days of the Californian gold rush, and discovered that an awful plot is afoot to turn our bustling little community into a ghost town. Armed with his scanner and picture resizing potions, he defends our peaceful site from a pretty bizarre catastrophe: no new boxshots!

Throwing punches

Have you ever wanted to punch somebody straight in the eye?

Well, this game will let you do something like that.

OK, so it's not the best fighting game out there, but as they said, it's the first boxing game that tried the first person view.

Boxshots: Lamborghini American Challenge
Ermuli burned up the highways of the USA at the wheel of his Lamborghini Diablo in the crazy world of illegal Saturday Night Races. He weaved through the traffic, beat off the competition, collided with his opponents and drove them off the road, avoided roadworks and watched out for the cops, only to be right in time to bring us a trunk full of boxshots!

Boxshots: Les Manley
What you didn't know about Ermuli: He is a passionate Elvis impersonator (that's a pleonasm by the way). And he is so authentic that the guys from WILL gave Les Manley the one million dollar reward for finding The King. Les was happy enough about this little pocket-money to present Ermuli with four boxshots of his first adventure.

Boxshots: Les Manley - Lost in L.A.
On a deceptively tranquil evening somewhere in the rich hills high above Los Abandeles, the Santa Abandonia winds have cleared the daily haze that shrouds the city. These exclusive hillside estates were the glittering social scene of Hollywood's shameless. That is, until a few months ago when L.A.'s brightest boxshots began to be scanthefted. Now, the streets are cold and deserted, and the homes are dark and locked. Many have increased security and bought patrol dogs to guard their domains. But little do they know that even these precautions cannot protect them. Still, not all of the elite have allowed this panic to rule their lives (guess why?). Welcome to the palatial home of Ermuli, The World's Scannest Man, Hollywood's biggest superstar - have a look at the boxshots by him.

Boxshots: Merchant Prince
Dear Abandonia, If you are reading this, then surely I am not dead. However, I have instructed the arbiter of my estate to provide you with some boxshots, some boxshots, aaand - some boxshots. With skill and good fortune, I trust you will lead  the community to great variety and power. I have but two pieces of advice: You must stick to the good so long as you can, but if compelled by necessity you must be ready to use other means. And, always remember the Golden Rule, "He who has the boxshots does the uploads (and gets more PøE)!" So, please have a look at the boxshots by me, Uncle Ermuli
