In 1978 Scott Adams created Adventure International. No. Not the guy who gave us Dilbert, but Scott Adams - the guy who is credited with starting the entire gaming industry. A badge he carries close to his heart.
Adventure International was one of the biggest adventure companies in the late 70s and early 80s, with many huge success titles.
However, the huge gaming pressure in the later years proved to be too much, and Adventure International filed for bankruptcy in 1985. All the game rights went back to Scott Adams, and on November 24, 1997 he released all these games as sharewares from his own personal
site.
Scott Adams is still an avid gamer and game designer, but Adventure International is no more.
