Dear Abandonia visitors: Help us keep Abandonia free with a small donation. Abandonia is like an old gaming arcade with only original games. Abandonia helps you have fun four hours and years. If Abandonia is useful to you, please help us forget fundraising and get back to Abandonia.

When Abandonia was founded it was to collect and present all old games where the copyright protection had been abandoned, hence the term ’abandonware’ and the site name Abandonia.com. We are still keeping the site open and free and will appreciate your support to help it stay that way.

‐ Thank you from the Abandonia Team

We are trying to make it easy for people in every country to donate. Please let us know how we could make it easier for you.

Please give whatever you can to help us.

Rock Madness
Today we bring you the soundtrack for Monster Truck Madness. A cup of cookies for Expack2, headbanging for the rest of us. OK, not all the songs are for headbanging, but you don't need a lot of slow rhythm for crushing huge vehicles, don't you?

ScummVM 1.5.0 Released!
Hey folks, what if I told you one of our favourite emulators got a new release? Because that totally happened. ScummVM, the number (and only) one in bringing classic LucasArts (among the many) point 'n' click videogames to our desktops, handhelds, and tablets, Android and iOS alike, now supports 10, and here we totally mean TEN new games, including but not limited to Dreamweb, which we actually host on site, so what are you waiting for? Download something, or something else!

Help Your Elf to a Weird, Wild Fantasy
Sunday is the best day for extras, and I will prove it. We've added a nice selection of boxshots and documents, thanks entirely to one of our leading contributors - Ermuli.

First up are some boxshots for Imperialism, a game where you take control of a global power seeking world domination. You can do this through means other than war, such as diplomacy and economical exploitation. Can your empire survive the Age of Industry?

There are also some nice sets of box art for Sleepwalker and The Godfather. In the first, a dog called Ralph must help his master Lee sleepwalk his way through multiple levels full of obstacles. In Godfather, you shoot mobsters in the balls. Pretty simple, right?

The platformer gem Elf was showered in goodies today, with the manual, the PC instructions, Keef Floyd's Guide and several boxshots added to the gamepage. If you haven't heard about it until now, it dates back from the Amiga days, which means gorgeous graphics and solid gameplay... oh and cool elves.

Finally, you can now check out the World Games manual and boxshots. Prove your prowess in the most elegant sports humankind has invented, like sumo wrestling, bull riding and log rolling.

Robot Odyssey Fixed!

Finally, we've managed to resolve an ancient issue which prevented you from running Robot Odyssey - if you've always wanted to try this old but unique game from 1984, now download it!

Many thanks, cookies, and blesses to our local mad scientist, The Fifth Horseman for cooking this crack in his wigwam.

More information here.

Yes, Earnest Eaglebeak is back, along with his barely controllable... lust, and now he kindly gave us his favourite tunes for everyone to enjoy.

What are you waiting for?

Have you read our tutorials?

Most of you know Abandonia is the best place for old PC games, reviews and discussion. But did all of you know that we also feature the most extensive help on having these games run on modern computers in the whole Internet? Be sure to read the Troubleshooting FAQ and the WTF Sticky so that we're at least clear that Windows 95 doesn't run on DOSBox. :-) Then please be our guest and take a look at our assortment of tutorials!

The new semester is about to begin!

1 September has gone down in history as one of the saddest days ever:

- The beginning of the Second World War in 1939
- The beginning of school in many countries

Nearly every student could argue which is worse for them, but one thing is sure, Earnest Eaglebeak couldn't wait to begin his second year at the university.

If you would like to know why, check out the Spellcasting series by Legend Entertainment, and the music we just uploaded for you to our Music player!

Weekly Poll Returns!

Now you can answer questions asked by community members by selecting one of the given options. We're trying to raise an educated debate about video games every week, because what is better than bragging about them all day?

This week we'd like to know how you prefer your digitally released videogames.

You can post your ideas if we didn't list an answer you would choose, or if you weren't happy with the current poll at all, ask something yourself!

Weekly Poll

Well, it seems we've received a lot of answers to last week's poll, actually, 63 percent of the voters claimed that they like...

"[...] old games to be re-released on digital stores (as)..."
"The original with additional goodies such as soundtrack, wallpapers, dev commentary, artwork."

Thanks for letting us know what you think about online stores, remakes, and piracy (?). Please do not hesitate to share the poll with your friends all around the world! This week the one and only TheChosen asks...

Which is the best cinematic platformer in your opinion?

Visit the forum poll and pick your choice! Did you find the question to be lame? No problem either! Ask a new one here!
