Dear Abandonia visitors: Help us keep Abandonia free with a small donation. Abandonia is like an old gaming arcade with only original games. Abandonia helps you have fun four hours and years. If Abandonia is useful to you, please help us forget fundraising and get back to Abandonia.

When Abandonia was founded it was to collect and present all old games where the copyright protection had been abandoned, hence the term ’abandonware’ and the site name Abandonia.com. We are still keeping the site open and free and will appreciate your support to help it stay that way.

‐ Thank you from the Abandonia Team

We are trying to make it easy for people in every country to donate. Please let us know how we could make it easier for you.

Please give whatever you can to help us.

Guild of Thieves, The
Every time we play computer games, we steal little moments of joy from the reality that is life. Today is a birthday of our updater, reviewer, member, and friend. Marko, here's an invitation to join The Guild of Thieves and steal as many wonderful moments as you can.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY marko_river!

Gloriana (a.k.a. Elizabeth I)
Today is a very special day! After nearly a year of waiting, a new version of DOSBox has been released! This one boasts a proud 0.70 version mark and is quite an achievement. It brings a handful of new improvements in terms of speed, compatibility, control and more. To prove to you that this is not just marketing talk, we've prepared an update that was tested and discovered to be compatible ONLY with the new version. That's right, it won't work with VDMSound or any of the older versions of DOSBox. The game in question is Gloriana (a.k.a. Elizabeth I) and we have been waiting for ages to publish it as it's a wonderful blend of strategy and adventure that will keep you glued to the screen for hours. So before you get the game, head over to the DOSBox official homepage where you can fetch your copy, read the full release changes and perhaps chip in to show your appreciation for the outstanding amount of time and effort that went into its development. Have fun! :)

Tintin on the Moon
[singing] Fly me to the Moon…[/singing] :-)
Well, that's the song that I instantly started humming while I started playing this game. So launch the rocked and set on Tintin's first computerized game Tintin on the Moon.

Striker 95
What made Striker '95 different from other football games of the time was the ability to play fast paced indoor football. To find out other innovations this game brought - download it!

10th Frame Pro Bowling Simulator
Today's update is a bowling game called 10th Frame Pro Bowling Simulator.
As our reviewer Sebatianos said, a simulation can never really capture the true charm of the real thing, but it beats building your very own bowling alley in the living room ;-)

19-03-2007
Today we have two magnificent updates that I'm sure everyone will like. The adventures in question are Quest for Glory I - So you want to be a Hero and Quest for Glory II - Trial by Fire, backed by a handful of extras. This was all written and compiled by Frodo so some cookies with sugar and cherry on top will be flying to Scotland soon!

Perestroika
A few years (more than he's willing to admit) ago a man was born, without whom this site could never come to life. No, not the owner of Abandonia, but the man who was wrapping him in diappers. Happy Birthday Romano! Hope you'll enjoy Perestroika!

Manhunter - New York
Manhunter: New York was the first Sierra adventure game that didn't use the text parser interface, add to that an invasion of alien eyeballs and you've got yourself a very good adventure game. Special thanks to Geezer for the review and all the extras provided.

Sports genre extends over a four page listing, but there is no hockey game to download. So Bruno G. decided to help us and has prepared Brett Hull Hockey 95.
