Back in the year 1889, the First Congress of the Second Socialist International selected May First as a day for international celebration of the workers. May first was chosen in commemoration of the Haymarket Massacre which occurred in Chicago in 1886. Most of the countries around the globe recognize this international holiday. They fought for an 8 hour working shift, equal payment for men and women and most of all they fought against child labor. Just think how many of you (who now comfortably play computer games) would be forced to work under extreme conditions (most child labor was used in mine shafts) a hundred years ago. Why can you enjoy your youth today? It�s because people in the past have stood up against several wrongs. It is therefore only right, that we (our international community here on Abandonia) remember this day.

Fool's Errand, The
A very, very late update today... or a very, very early one tomorrow... depends on your point of view. Anyways, tonight, we bring you another true classic. It's the sledgehammer of mindwreckiness under the puzzle games. Be warned, for here is The Fool's Errand. A hobostick with a sack full of peanuts is being ludged towards Tai for giving us all we need to put the game up.

17 years ago, Origin Systems Inc. created a game, that can be considered an introduction to the genre of RPG. For newbies to this genre, Times of Lore is a perfect opportunity to get familiar with the world of fantasy, filled with quests and monsters, challenges and mysteries - and even experienced gamers are well advised to give it a shot. The Fifth Horseman supplied the game, both thumbs up for this!

HIND - The Russian Combat Helicopter Simulation
Two days witout an update. Shame on us! We decieded to do two things because of that. Firstly, add a simulation game called HIND - The Russian Combat Helicopter Simulation. The name is quite scary, but I assure you that the controls are even scarier :P Second news is that we have changed our game listing a little so that you can see some main game feats without actually getting to the game page. These include the game's availability, whether or not it has extras and if it supports multiplayer modes! I hope you like this change because we have some more treats coming your way soon! ;)
