Mechwarrior
Mechwarrior is an action game released more than a decade before the movie version of The Matrix, yet perhaps it provided the inspiration for that unforgettable giant-robots-used-as-weapons scene in Revolutions. Speaking of things gigantic, The Fifth Horseman has provided the longest and most comprehensive review I can remember reading as well as numerous screenshots and extras. I think this calls for something extremely delicious to be baked and sent his way. :)
