Dear Abandonia visitors: Help us keep Abandonia free with a small donation. Abandonia is like an old gaming arcade with only original games. Abandonia helps you have fun four hours and years. If Abandonia is useful to you, please help us forget fundraising and get back to Abandonia.

When Abandonia was founded it was to collect and present all old games where the copyright protection had been abandoned, hence the term ’abandonware’ and the site name Abandonia.com. We are still keeping the site open and free and will appreciate your support to help it stay that way.

‐ Thank you from the Abandonia Team

We are trying to make it easy for people in every country to donate. Please let us know how we could make it easier for you.

Please give whatever you can to help us.

Waiting for something really really good to appear here? Allow me to recommend this game. You don't have to like racing in order to like Lotus! The game deserves more than a recommendation! Lotus the Ultimate Challenge can be found in the sports section. (That means you should go get it right now! :-)).

Hooray! We have received the first awards for our site! It came from the good people of Echo Ring who noticed our inhumane efforts :) Now, I'm not only saying this because of the awards, but Echo Ring is definitely one of the best rings out there because they check updates themselves, and they check them daily! Just how cool is that? :) Anyways, thanks guys! You can find the awards in the freshly-opened Awards section! Cheers!

Hello everyone. I'm Daniel, the new guy here. I've added a new game: Settlers 2 Gold (wow). Sadly, I dont have the time to upload the files, so you'll have to wait until I post something saying I've uploaded it. I'll upload the files for ASAP, probably in about 9-10 hours, about 8-9 GMT.

"ScummVM is a 'virtual machine' for several classic graphical point-and-click adventure games. It is designed to run Adventure Soft's Simon the Sorcerer 1 and 2, Revolution's Beneath A Steel Sky, and games based on LucasArts' SCUMM (Script Creation Utility for Maniac Mansion) system. SCUMM is used for many games, including Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, Sam and Max and more." - ScummVM team ScummVM is engine designed to work on multiple platforms. Just imagine playing Monkey 2 on Palm OS. Or on Linux... :-) You can check it out at ScummVM

Mortal Kombat
There's another game in the action seciton. What is there to say? Entire movies derived from a "video game"? Thousands of copies sold all over the world... I'd say the words are needless now. The one and only: Mortal Kombat

Beneath a Steel Sky
After some delays and postponing, enter Beneath a Steel Sky! An extremely popular futuristic "game noire" so to say. Comes in two versions, the original DOS version, and freeware ScummVM CD version - both can be found in the Adventure section. Pick the one you like better!

I noticed many people have started communicating with me or with each other via guestbook. Since guestbook is not a very suitable place for such things I have decided to open up a forum for this purpose! Please use it and I promise we'll carefully monitor all your comments, thoughts and requests!

Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego
I was just browsing through the games directory when I noticed that one game had a weird file size. Way bigger than it should be. So I decided to check it out only to find out that Armando (Checkbox G) uploaded a new version of this game that features wonderful VGA graphics instead of CGA!

That moment I decided I had to take new screenshots and rewrite the review! The game in question is Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego, and if you haven't seen the VGA version yet, you better go check it out right away!! :)
