The greatest chef in the states is on a mission to make the best tasting burgers ever. This made the hot-dogs mad and the eggs are hard boiled anyway, so they went along with the hot-dogs’ idea to stop the cook.
Now you need to guide this master of culinary pleasures around the ladders and avoid the murderous snacks. On the way you need to trample on the ingredients of the perfect burger (yup, now you know why the burger smells like some guy’s sweaty feet) in order to assemble the mouthwatering finger-licking rich in fat burger!
You get bonus points if a burger ingredient (it’s two parts of a bun, a leaf of lettuce and a piece of ground meat) hits an egg or a hot-dog while falling down. If a falling ingredient lands on top of the next ingredient it will push it down automatically (can cause a chain reaction, so go for the top row first, to save time).
You also get to drop pepper at the pesky snacks chasing you, but that is only a temporally solution. Lucky for you, you’re moving faster then those pesky buggers. You get bonus peppers and cups of coffee if you’re able to collect them in time.
Once you make four burgers, you move to the next and harder level and start all over again (but trust me, it’s a real achievement to get pass level 5). All in all a fun little addictive classic game I loved on the C64 and find the gameplay of this version even better, that’s why I don’t even mind the horrid CGA graphics (not only it lacks colors, it’s really low quality).
To get the same quality of screenshots, you have to change a setting in the DOSBox.conf file! Machine type should be changed from VGA (default) into CGA. Select Composite (TV mode) at the beginning of the game).
