Dear Abandonia visitors: Help us keep Abandonia free with a small donation. Abandonia is like an old gaming arcade with only original games. Abandonia helps you have fun four hours and years. If Abandonia is useful to you, please help us forget fundraising and get back to Abandonia.

When Abandonia was founded it was to collect and present all old games where the copyright protection had been abandoned, hence the term ’abandonware’ and the site name Abandonia.com. We are still keeping the site open and free and will appreciate your support to help it stay that way.

‐ Thank you from the Abandonia Team

We are trying to make it easy for people in every country to donate. Please let us know how we could make it easier for you.

Please give whatever you can to help us.

Dear Abandonians! After many requests and discussions, we have decided to open up a shop in association with LowRez Retroshirts. At the moment the shop offers several t-shirt models featuring the new Abandonia logo that will be incorporated in the next redesign. You can access the shop by clicking on the "Shop" label in the sidemenu (under news), or by simply typing http://shop.abandonia.com in your favorite browser! With time, new motives will be added as well, and we'll make sure to keep you informed about any developments! I hope you like the initial selection. Feel free to share your thoughts in the forums, and send us your pictures with the shirts "in action" ;)

Trog
After you've all ordered a nice Abandonia t-shirt, you're totally ready for this nice Arcade game: Trog, in which you're a kind of Tyrannosaurus/Triceratops crossover dino that has to collect eggs. Meanwhile these vile Neanderthals are trying to prevent you from doing this. You might have to eat them...

Laser Light
I couldn't decide which game to put up today, so I tried them all...and I have to say Laser Light by Pixel Painters was the best one. Nice, colourful graphics, an interesting concept and easy interface make this puzzle game a great fun-bringer. Read the review by swiss-who-is-not-Swiss and get it! It's a small download, too :)

Jim Power
"Jim Power, he's the man who's name you'd love to touch! / But you mustn't touch! / His name sounds good in your ear / but when you say it / you mustn't fear! / 'Cause his name can be said by anyone!" Today's game is one of the most loved in the Amiga version, and the PC port is definitely as good as the original. A damn fine side-scrolling shooter, and a really long and challenging one too, at least according to Gamebringer, who couldn't get to the end of the first level even though having played through it for 1457 hours (reported! I'm no liar). Can you do better than him? I guess the only way to know is trying it out.
