Dear Abandonia visitors: Help us keep Abandonia free with a small donation. Abandonia is like an old gaming arcade with only original games. Abandonia helps you have fun four hours and years. If Abandonia is useful to you, please help us forget fundraising and get back to Abandonia.

When Abandonia was founded it was to collect and present all old games where the copyright protection had been abandoned, hence the term ’abandonware’ and the site name Abandonia.com. We are still keeping the site open and free and will appreciate your support to help it stay that way.

‐ Thank you from the Abandonia Team

We are trying to make it easy for people in every country to donate. Please let us know how we could make it easier for you.

Sim Earth
Hi! New day, new update... that's how we do things here - quickly, precisely and thoroughly :) Well, enough of this blatant self-advertising, let's get to the contents of the actual update. As you can see from the little pic to the left, its a game that has to do with our sweet Mother Earth. But this time you get to take the director's chair and see if you can do a better job than God / evolution did! :) This time Decalies has supplied us with the actual game and a flawless review! (first one in a long time) Give it a try, but beware, its not easy!

Laura Bow 2 - The Dagger of Amon-Ra
Hello everyone. A late update today, but an update nonetheless. We sort of promissed not to add adventure games any more but this one slipped through out fingers... Don't be mad however, you're going to love it! Its a very eye-catching sierra adventure with a very interesting story. You play a young news reporter in the 1920's, reporting about a dissapearance of an ancient Egyptian artefact. Ladies and gentleman - Laura Bow & the Dagger of Amon-Ra.

Cirque de Zale
We might as well rename Abandonia to Adventuronia as things are going. Yes, that's right, we have added yet another adventure game to our growing collection. This time I should thank Wendy for providing me with the archive, screenshot and review. This game is the closest you will get to the feel of playing Simon the Sorcerer or Monkey Islands! Have fun!

Stratego
The adventure streak has ended! Yes, we've finally added a strategy game - Stratego. Kiddiarni has supplied us with a spiffy review of this fun board game. It should clear your doubts whether or not this game is for your taste. We're preparing some new strategy games for you so keep an eye for the upcoming stuff!

Master of Magic
Another day, another strategy... Today's special on our update repertoire is Master of Magic! Yes, the one and only brilliant mixture of Civilization and Heroes of Might and Magic. Its all yours free so fetch it while the stocks last ;)

Castles 2 - Siege and Conquest
It looks as if a strategy streak has just begun on Abandonia. This is the third strategy game we've added in 3 days. Today's addition is Castles 2 - Siege and Conquest where you get to build some castles and, ultimately, become the king of France! Au revoir!

Heroes of Might and Magic
Today we have proved that you will succeed if you try hard enough. We have at last had a breakthrough in getting this gem to play. After a lot of cursing in different languages all over the globe, Heroes of Might and Magic is now playable and rests among all the other great Strategy games on the site. This time Omuletzu supplied the game, while The Picard has made another review. Thanks to all the guys who have worked hard in order for us to place the game on the site.

Eric the Unready
A new layout for the site has been made. Abandonia version 2.0 is finally here. So, needless to say, a really great game had to be updated this day. The job fell on me... This game is one of my all time favourites. It is (of course) another adventure, but give it a try. Eric the Unready is completely different from any games you have ever played before. Enjoy both the game and the new design. Also note that we now have started using bigger screenshots for the games. I'm out.

Ultima Underworld - The Stygian Abyss
Hi everyone! This is my first news posting on this brand new layout of Abandonia! So far we got positive feedback, with just a few remarks concerning the readability. We'll try to make it as enjoyable as possible of course! :)

Today's update is by Free Freddy who supplied us with yet another great RPG - Ultima Underworld. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as the new design ;)

Darklands
Sarua and Aladar have both contributed with this game. This is their first but hopefully not the last update in their names. Todays game is Darklands. An RPG game set in Germany in the 15th century. This game has absolute character freedom. A nice feature in a RPG, I think we can all agree. Get the game. It's worth it.

The Elder Scrolls - Arena
The news pic might not be a good give-away for todays game. How-ever, I like it. So it stays! (Yes, it is taken from the game). Anyways... I was bored today, so I added another RPG. This one has been reviewed by Stroggy, and it is an excellent one. Thanks Strog. Kosta supplied the archive so a small thanks to him too. The game I am talking about is the first game in The Elder Scrolls series: ARENA! The RPG section is still alive and growing. Take care.

Crusader - No Remorse
A new day means a new game here on Abandonia. And by looking at the red armor on the guy to my left, I think you'll all understand which game we decided to add. If you don't then it is obvious that you've never played any of the Crusader games. In that case, here is your chance. For we added the first game in the series. No Remorse was brilliantly reviewed by mika. Check it out.

Great Naval Battles of the North Atlantic
Finally I am able to make an update all by my self. Well in truth I had to be lead through this one step at a time but in my defence the system is not in perfect working order at the moment.

Anyway on to todays update. Great Naval Battles of the North Atlantic has been a favorite of mine for years and now it can be your as well. Have fun and happy gaming

BloodNet
Razor2 has made his first review for todays game. I have a feeling we're going to see more from him as time goes by. BloodNet is a fantastic Cyberpunk RPG that came out in 1994. This is it's 10 years anniversary, so check it out. The game is still as addictive as it was on its first day of release.
